Settings
Access settings from the sidebar. The settings page is divided into sections.
Family Settings
These apply to the entire family.
Screenshot Retention

After the retention period, screenshots and their encrypted blobs are permanently deleted by the cleanup worker.
Privacy Mode
When enabled, screenshots are deleted 24 hours after capture (regardless of retention settings). This is a more aggressive privacy option for parents who want analysis and alerts but don’t want screenshots stored long-term.
Notification Preferences
These control how and when you receive alerts.
Immediate Alert Channels
Choose which channels receive immediate alerts:
- Email — Get an email for each immediate alert
- In-app — See alerts in the portal
You can enable both, or just one.
Daily Digest

The digest is a summary of all open alerts from the past 24 hours.
Account Settings
Password
Change your password from the profile section. You’ll need to enter your current password.
Password Reset
If you forget your password:
- Go to the login page
- Click Forgot Password
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for a reset link (valid for 15 minutes)
- Set a new password
