Enable / Disable a Policy

Policies can be toggled on or off without deleting them. A disabled policy is ignored during rule evaluation.

For young children (5–8)

Set most categories to immediate alert with high/critical severity. Young children need the tightest monitoring.

For pre-teens (9–12)

Use immediate alert for serious categories (grooming, pornography, self-harm) and digest for less urgent ones (violence, drugs, age-inappropriate).

For teenagers (13–16)

Focus immediate alerts on the most harmful categories (grooming, self-harm, pornography). Use digest or silent log for others. Avoid over-alerting — teenagers need some privacy, and excessive alerts lead to alert fatigue.
