- 13–16 — Teenagers. Focuses on genuinely harmful content: explicit material, grooming, self-harm, drug promotion, extremism.

Why Age Bands Matter
The AI adjusts its analysis based on the age band you select. For example:
| Content | 5–8 | 9–12 | 13–16 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minecraft gameplay | Safe | Safe | Safe |
| Instagram/TikTok browsing | Flagged | Context-dependent | Safe |
| Fortnite (rated T) | Flagged | Safe | Safe |
| Explicit language in chat | Flagged | Flagged | Context-dependent |
| Grooming conversation | Flagged | Flagged | Flagged |
Choosing the right age band reduces false positives and ensures the system focuses on what’s genuinely risky for your child’s developmental stage.
Multiple Children
You can add as many children as you need. Each child can have:
- Their own devices
- Their own monitoring policy (or use the family default)
- Independent alert streams
Navigate between children from the Children page or the dashboard overview cards.
