Getting Started

This guide walks you through setting up ChildOnlineSafety from scratch. By the end, you’ll have a working account with a child profile, an enrolled device, and a monitoring policy.

Prerequisites

• A Windows PC or laptop that your child uses (Windows 10 or later)
• An email address for your parent account
• About 10 minutes

Steps

1. Create an account — Sign up and verify your email
2. Add a child — Create a profile for your child with their age group
3. Enrol a device — Install the monitoring agent on the device
4. Create a policy — Define what to monitor and how to alert you

Once complete, the agent will begin capturing screenshots and the AI will analyse them automatically. You’ll receive alerts based on your policy configuration.
